Representatives of notaries public of Serbia were praised at the meeting of notaries of Southeast Europe in Berlin for the rapid progress of the profession, the development of the network and especially for the digitization of the procedures performed in notary offices, with the assessment that the notary of the Republic of Serbia is recording the best results in the region, while catching up quickly with the developed notaries of the Western Europe.
On this occasion, the E-Notary application was presented, which was developed by the Post of Serbia as a result of the cooperation between the Notary Chamber of Serbia, the Ministry of Justice of Serbia and the Superior Council of Notaries. Its primary purpose is the digital archiving of notary documents.
The E-Notary application has been completed and it will be shortly installed in several notary offices, in a test phase, until the adoption of regulations that will normatively regulate the field of archiving in digital form.
