Serbia's total foreign trade in goods for the period January-July 2022 amounts to 40.342,6 million USD, which represents an increase of 22.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Goods worth 16.673,3 million USD were exported, which is an increase of 16,3% compared to the same period of the previous year, whereas goods worth 23.669,3 million USD were imported, which is 26.5% more than in the same period of the previous year.
The deficit amounts to 6.996,0 million USD, which is an increase of 59.7% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The coverage of imports by exports is 70.4% and is less than the coverage in the same period of the previous year, when it was 76.6%.
The largest volume of foreign trade in goods was registered with countries with which Serbia has signed free trade agreements. European Union member countries account for 59.1% of total trade.
