Serbia among top 3 global raspberry producers

 In terms of raspberry production in 2022, Serbia achieved third place at the global level, staying right behind Russia and Mexico.

Chile, also a large producer of raspberries and other berry fruits, took the fourth position, according to the latest data 2022.

When it comes to fruit growing, apart from raspberries, Serbia is a large producer of plums, apples and cherries.
According to the collected data from 2021, the highest yields per hectare are achieved in the production of apples, followed by plums, pears, apricots, cherries and peaches. These are indicative data, which change from year to year, with plums and apples practically constantly dominating as fruit species.
